Volunteer There are countless volunteer opportunities available with Historic Salisbury Foundation, from being a docent at the 1820 Dr. Josephus Hall House and OctoberTour, to digging through the past in our archives. HSF organizes several volunteer work days throughout the year. These are a great way to get involved with the organization and meet new people with similar interests in history.

If you would like to volunteer with HSF, please complete the following form and we will gladly contact you. Please let us know your specific interests, talents or abilities, so we may identify a volunteer opportunity that will be rewarding for you as well.

Thank you for your time! Without volunteers like you, some of these events and projects would not be possible.

Revolving Fund Properties

Along with these and other landmarks of Salisbury and Rowan County, HSF has saved over 100 historic buildings through an active revolving fund program. A distressed property is acquired, stabilized and sold with protective covenants to a buyer who completes the renovations to meet their needs and tastes. Click here to see how these programs are making a huge impact on historic communities across the country in this video produced by The 1772 Foundation and Savannah College of Art and Design.
