The Hall House Museum Tours

Saturdays, 1pm - 4pm

The 2025 tour season is underway, and we’re excited to welcome you back to the Historic Hall House Museum! Open every Saturday afternoon in the beautiful West Square Historic District, our knowledgeable docents are available to guide you through the history of this amazing 1820s beauty. A notable place to take your out-of-town guests when sharing Salisbury! No reservation needed. $5 Adults, $3 Children. Free for HSF Members

Second Saturday Salvage

June 14, 2025 from 9am-2pm

Find treasure amongst the salvaged goods in the Ice House at Second Saturday Salvage from 9AM - 2PM every second Saturday located at 224 E Horah Street, Salisbury. HSF members enjoy a 5% discount.

History on Tap

June 26, July 24, & August 28 from 5:30-7:30pm

History on Tap is back and better than ever! Join us this summer for a 3 - part series highlighting Rowan County’s rich history, local craft brews, and some of Salisbury’s most iconic landmarks. Each session features a tour of a historic site, local beer, music, and a great chance to connect with the community. Space is limited - RSVP today to secure your spot!

Join us for the 50th Annual OctoberTour and explore historic properties in the West Square Historic District and Downtown Salisbury! This milestone event features an unforgettable lineup of homes, guided tours, complimentary trolleys, and the free Bank Street Festival with food, vendors, and live music. Celebrate history, architecture, and community in a weekend you won’t forget!

Bands on Bank Street Event

September 7, 5pm - 7pm

Join us for a fantastic evening of live music on the Hall House lawn! Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket and enjoy performances by local bands in a fun, laid-back setting. The event will feature free hot dogs, beer and wine available for purchase, and you're welcome to bring your own refreshments in a cooler. Festivities begin at the Dr. Josephus W. Hall House, located at 226 S Jackson Street. This event is free to the public.
