Archive: History on Tap series planned again this summer by HSF June 2, 2017

SALISBURY — The Historic Salisbury Foundation Inc. will host its third annual summer series, “History on Tap.”

Programs are planned for June, July and August.

“We invite active and potential members of HSF to cool off by sampling local craft beer while exploring several of the community’s more interesting historic places and spaces,” the foundation said in a news release. “Participants will see – and taste – the real Salisbury.”

The 2017 “HOT” series will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on the fourth Thursday of each month — June 22, July 27 and Aug. 24. There is no charge, though donations are welcome.

The series will launch June 22, a Thursday, with an insider tour of Morgan Ridge Railwalk Brewery & Eatery at 421 N. Lee St. After the tour, participants will have a chance to network and enjoy a pair of Morgan Ridge’s craft beers in its newly renovated 1924 warehouse space.

On July 27, the series will continue at Grevious Gallery, 313 E. Council St., exploring its connection to the Civil War, Antosek Luggage and Cheerwine.
