"We the undersigned request the rehabilitation of the historic Shober Bridge following The Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties that strive to retain those portions and features of the property which are significant to its historic, architectural, and cultural value. We request that the Bridge be made safe for the public and for the purposes of providing a grade separated crossing of the railroad line. We request minimum alteration of the bridge, its environment and its distinguishing engineering, architectural and potential archeological resources."
